About the Paper Presented by Even Grounds at CSUN 2009
The paper was entitled “The Challenges of Training WCAG 2.0 in South East Asia”. The main goal of Even Grounds in presenting the paper was to provide a concrete set of lessons to help those planning to contribute to web accessibility in the South East Asian region.
Mr. Larry Campbell, International Program Director of Overbrook-Nippon Network on Educational Technology (ON-NET), was the co-presenter of this paper alongside Mr. Babinszki. ON-NET was the main sponsor of the web accessibility training.
The paper provided a background on the web accessibility training done by Even Grounds. Through it, Mr. Babinszki talked about the preparations for the course, the selection of participants, and the course itself. Special focus was given to the challenges encountered by both Even Grounds and the trainees, and the lessons learned through the challenges they faced.
