Even Grounds Participates in the First Ever Philippine Web Designers Organization Conference

On October 30, 2008, the first web designers conference was conducted by the Philippine Web Designers Organization. This event was held at the Orient Square Building in Pasig City, Philippines. Julius Charles Serrano represented Even Grounds at this conference. The Philippine Web Designers Organization is a group that focuses on bringing together institutions and companies supporting various standards related to web design.

The conference consisted of five major topics discussed by five speakers. The first speaker talked about web accessibility in the Philippines. He gave the audience an overview of the accessibility-related laws in the Philippines and explained the importance of web accessibility. The second speaker talked about innovative web design techniques. The third and fourth speakers discussed the concepts behind web-based business approaches and CSS respectively. The last speaker discussed usability of web pages.

At the end of the conference, everyone was given the chance to share their comments and ideas. Julius took this opportunity to discuss the services and resources offered by Even Grounds. The Philippine Web Designers Organization aims to make this conference a frequent event, and it plans to hold a major summit in April 2009. Even Grounds is committed in participating in all upcoming events to be conducted by the Philippine Web Designers Organization.
